About SallyeAnder

SallyeAnder is a family company that originated when a father, Gary Austin, hand-made a soap for his son, Aaron, due to his allergy to regular, grocery-store soaps. The year was 1982, and the soap was olive oil Castile. In creating this, Gary realized the overwhelming amount of people with sensitive skin that he could help by creating these soaps. SallyeAnder dedicated themselves to creating the best soap in America, and does this by using all edible ingredients and essential oils. Even as the company grows, they continue to produce their products in an environmentally conscious manner and remain a small team that crafts, packages, and ships everything by hand.

"Since that first olive oil Castile soap in 1982, we've been dedicated to helping people, and we see no reason to change."

Emmi Farms & SallyeAnder

SallyeAnder is another business that showed us the plentiful opportunities to form relationships at farmer's markets. In 2014, Christina Emmi, Tony's sister-in-law, met Chad Summers at the Baldwinsville Farmer's Market (back when it was located at the VFW on route 370). After chatting, it was decided that Emmi's Farm Market would sell the locally produced, all-natural soaps at our Baldwinsville location. SallyeAnder's products add a diversity to our selection of local products, and a delicious aroma to our stand!
