How did these two family operations wind up working together? Each year, Emmi Farms is host to an Earth Day 5k and half-marathon race. In 2018, Our Lady of Victory Farm's Lucille and Cassie had set up a space as vendors. After the race, Tony Emmi's wife, Sandra, sister-in-law, Christina, and daughter, Carolee, struck up a conversation with the mother-daughter duo. They talked for some time and it was eventually decided that their naturally raised beef would be the farm stand's new addition for the season. The perfect example of neighbors helping neighbors thrive!
Our Lady of Victory Farm is a family operation run by the Laws: Chuck, Lucille and their daughter Cassie. The family lived in New York City for most of their lives, but decided to move upstate, to a town called Victory, in Cayuga County, and start a farm to improve their health. Their farm is named after Mother Mary, and their mission is to continue raising their animals the right way.
